Plot Information: Ree Majors is a teenager, bound for greatness. Probably. She's tried that training thing a couple times before, but hey, fifth time's the charm, right? She sets out (again) on a training journey, and she has a definite goal in mind: collect all eight badges in under a year. She picks up a snivy from the lab, and thus begins their quirky, crazy team.
The problem is that she may have sort of run away from home in the process. But that's okay, right? Her sister's a trainer, too! So was her boyfriend, and kids are always running off and becoming trainers without warning. It's only logical she do it, too, right? But as she leaves Maya, her skilled younger sister, and Scott, her frustrated ex-trainer boyfriend, behind, it becomes harder and harder to distinguish what she's headed toward and what she's running from.

Ree Majors:
Age: seventeen at introduction (chapter 1)
Gender: Female
Personality: Ree is headstrong, easily distracted, a little whimsical, lighthearted, and confident. That confidence occasionally dips into arrogance, but usually not too often. She does have a strong personality, however - her foul mouth does nothing to work against this. She likes to have fun and enjoys socializing with anybody and everybody. She's physical and snappish and enjoys pretending to be fancy.
Likes: having a good time, winning, her family, Scott, play fighting, reading, earning money, her team
Dislikes: being away from people she cares about, losing battles
Team: Whippy (snivy), Lala (whimsicott), Harper (pidove)
Scott Felton:
Age: seventeen at introduction (chapter 1)
Gender: Male
Personality: Scott is pretty laid-back compared to Ree, but that's not entirely fair; everyone is laid-back compared to Ree. He's a fairly even character, though. He doesn't get upset very easily, although when he does, look out. He's a skilled battler, but he has since quit. He's a morning person, is in a band, loves to sing, and can actually out-crazy Ree if given the chance. Scott is possibly more attached to his relationship than Ree is.
Likes: his team, Ree, singing, learning how to play new instruments, wearing aviator sunglasses, acting embarrassing in public, physical affection, running
Dislikes: when Ree goes off on adventures without him, sore throats, when his team fights amongst themselves, losing battles, doing laundry, gambling

Maya Majors:
Age: fifteen at introduction (chapter 1, dialogue only)
Gender: Female
Personality: Maya is definitely the quieter of the Majors sisters. When around people she knows well, she's friendly, warm, a little bit motherly, and known as a wee bit of a boy chaser. When around people she doesn't know, however, she tends to clam up. She apologizes frequently, blushes furiously, and is known to even stutter on occasion. It takes a little bit of effort to get to know her properly. She's a fierce trainer, however, one of the best in the region.
Likes: training, cooking, quiet time, hanging out with people she cares about, traveling
Dislikes: being accused of being a boy chaser, meeting new people, spending time with strangers, making decisions
Team: Bo (serperior), Mordecai (sawsbuck), Zara (maractus), Lilith (leavanny), Talia (lilligant), Edgar (reuniclus)
Harry Maciver:
Age: sixteen at introduction (chapter 5)
Gender: Female
Personality: Harry is a reasonable, down-to-earth sort of girl. She adores knitting and her team, and often knits while on the road. She doesn't call herself a trainer anymore, although she still travels and will occasionally battle, though normally she's the one being challenged. She's a little skittish at times and can be shy, but she's smart and practical and responsible.
Likes: knitting, her team, classical music, trashy romance novels
Dislikes: spicy foods, being teased, losing battles
Team: Jackster (blitzle), Hattie (sewaddle), Shady (litwick)
